Langley City’s upcoming municipal election is on Saturday, October 17th. I will be seeking re-election as Mayor of Langley City.
I will be running with the Langley City First team. For more information about the team, our record, and our platform, please visit the Langley City First website.
A little about myself, I have been an active part of Langley City’s civic life for over two decades, including serving on Langley City’s original Parks, Environment, Recreation & Culture Committee from 2008 to 2016.
I advocated for bringing back Interurban passenger rail, co-founded the Langley chapter of HUB Cycling, and co-founded South Fraser OnTrax, which hosted workshops and events, connecting world-renowned leaders to our community to help create a healthy, happy, and sustainable Langley.
I also authored a report, “Decade of Exclusions? A Snapshot of the Agricultural Land Reserve from 2000-2009 in the South of Fraser,” and “Leap Ahead: A transit plan for Metro Vancouver,” which called for building transit projects that are now being implemented.
I was first elected to Langley City Council in 2016 and was elected mayor in 2022.
